Saint Patrick and Karaoke Night

Green, then red and blue, then puke all over the place. These were the colors of the night and the result of it.

After more than two months of devotion to the duty of a person in my situation = responsible and autonomous stabilization (ok let's not complicate it too much, I meant find a job, a room, keep on the track of universities where I applied and don't even know anymore if I want to attend them... usual shit right?).

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, colours and puke.
So my dear beloved americans don't just steal traditions and cultures from other countries, they preserve them on their original way so you can enjoy it as almost a real native.
Irish carbon - what the hell are you doing guys? This could kill you, it is totally illegal in Spain and I'm sure in many more countries! Of course, they all laugh at me and in addition almost obligue me to drink some. So because they were so cool and nice I do accept without thinking of the next day.
I thought so little of the next day that I ended up having another one and even enjoyed it (I have to confess that it wouldn't have been the same without the little moment of popularity that came with it).

So add to this the four beers that were before in my stomach and the four that came after (the next ones were necessary to pursue to dynamic of a karaoke place while keeping my voice fresh so everyone can enjoy it). And pour some crazy Korean shots in a Karaoke place that pretended to be mild and naive of their own consequences. Well, I can tell you that the naive was me, and someone's car's door paid for it!

Happy Saint Patrick to everyone!

A little frozen yogurt break after work...

Twist of "plain tart" with raspberry raped by two cheesecake bites, some peanut butter confetis, small doughs, chocolate balls covered with somewhat sort of white sweet balls, some chunky crunchy chocolate and caramel stripes and white chocolate.

The whole thing for not even 2$, the whole thing with not even 800 calories!

Mew

I couldn't resist play the tourist, it was almost like a duty... Funny thing, I had Harrison and Ringo behind me but no Mc Cartney! He doesn't deserve it as much as the others anyway...

When you (Europeans) say big, that's actually small for us; when you say strong, that's actually quite soft for us.

SMALL TV

SMALL FRIDGE (the girl with the mini Coke finds it quite small to share it with 2 other dudes)

LIGHT WEED (fell deeply asleep 15 min. after smoking half of a normal joint)

SMALL RED SHOE

Los Feliz Village and new stuff

I don't like it: Pronounced by the white bunch - "Las Féles Village".

I like : what shit do I reboost or reshape on my face today?

I like it : Being a tourist and feeling great for it.

HABITS TO ADOPT

WATCH TV: This is the end of another day! But don't be filled with sorrow! God saved America...

PLAY GUITAR HERO FOR BREAKFAST: And rock it!

STOP SPEAKING ENGLISH AND START SPEAKING AMERICAN:

"Well no, I have US citizenship but I was born in Paris, so I have double citizenship - does that make sense?" (if someone doesn't understand what you mean but you know perfectly you're right and you want his/her approval and/or agreement)

"How you're doing + (optional) today? " (to anyone, anywhere, anytime)

"Have a good/great one" (enjoy your day/time)

"Can you grab this/that/these/those?" (take, catch, pick, collect, ...)

GOING TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD WITH ICELAND AIR

PARIS -KEFLAVIK

1.20 a.m. 4 hrs. of flight, not too bad. Arriving there, only 45 min. to pee, drink something, stretch the legs and buy an awesome speciality from the icelanders: Haddock Chips, disgusting at the beggining but some minutes later you just want more and more until you find it disgusting again.

KEFLAVIK - SEATTLE

8 hrs. of flight, too bad. Speak with some Portland girls, very nice until we arrive to the US and one puts her hand on the chest and raise her hand in the air singing the national anthem; then, not much more conversation. I eat a sandwich, watch a movie, read a bit, eat a weird lemon cake dessert, try to sleep, watch Family Guy, then Futurama, then fall asleep, accept any proposal of drink from the hostesses, finally fall asleep and when I wake up there are still 3 hrs. of flight...

SEATTLE - FUCKING SEATTLE AGAIN
Lalala, only 3 hrs. more of flight, finally! Oh wow, people are really obese and smile at you, life looks very sweet here!
Oh, 6 terminals connected by trains, what a huge airport, but I have 3 hrs. before taking the next plane! Ok, my boarding pass says terminal C, let's go.
Ok, I'm in terminal C but not a single flight going to LA... I look on the screen, oh, they changed it to the exactly opposite terminal, how fun! It's ok, still 1h. to get there...

15 min. before I get in the plane: "Ms.Karouni is asked to present herself on the desk of IcelandAir immediatly." Hm... they might want to ask me if I'm a terrorist with this surname or something like this... - "Well hello it's me.".
- "Ms. Karouni, you have left your luggage on the baggage claim and now you must go back to the arrivals to pick them and check them in again. Oh, and your flight is leaving in 15 min. so you might loose it and have to take the next one which is at 6 in the morning"
- "Excuse me, I'm not sure I'm understanding... Not a single person since I've been flying from Paris has told me that I have to take my luggage in Seattle as I am still flying after that!"
- "Well, I'm very sorry for that but now it's too late".
-"Ok, thanks??"

2 a.m. Nowhere to sleep, no dollars to buy something to eat, well, nothing open anyway. Still 4 hrs. before I take my new flight. It's been officially 24 hrs. since I left Paris.

SEATTLE - LOS ANGELES!

6 a.m. I get in the plane and complain about all what happened asking in exchange for a free breakfast. They say ok no problem. I actually got: scrumbled eggs with bacon and scrumbled eggs with bacon with muffins shape served with asparragus and potates, 2 teas, 1 apple juice and 1 coffee, a fruit dish.
Damn, people are serious about food!
I am totally full! It finally worthed it to be stuck 14 hrs. in Seattle but I'm not taking a plane again for at least 6 months!

8.30 a.m. Slowly crossing the amazing huge city. I've never seen such a landscape before, millions and billions of houses stuck together, then huge green mountains, huge lakes, houses again, an enormous snowed mountain range on the back and the Pacific at the coast, big cars and pick-up trucks...

Los Angeles here I am, well yes, I am definitely not anymore in Europe, but I am definitely still a European, ain't I?
